07 May Anteprima Grignolino & Co. 2026 – Casale Monferrato
The 4th edition of Anteprima Grignolino&Co., an event organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Vini Colline del Monferrato Casalese, returns to Casale Monferrato Castle on Sunday, May 10th and Monday, May 11th.
These two days will be dedicated to the native wines of Casale Monferrato, with the main focus being Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC. Labels from the other three denominations protected by the Consortium will also be on display: Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG, Rubino di Cantavenna DOC, and Gabiano DOC.
FROM THE PROGRAM
Sunday, May 10th
– presentation of the book Abbecedario Dionisiaco, in the vineyard, in the glass, at the table. The work, by Maria Luisa Alberico, describes over 200 grape varieties and wines from various Italian regions. Free admission, at 5 pm in the Castle courtyard;
– Followed by a free concert of Swing-Blues and Standard Jazz featuring the Alberto Sempio and Gigi Andreone duo. Simultaneously, a Monferrato aperitif hosted by the Enoteca del Monferrato, with a tasting of 60 local wines.
– From 5 to 7 pm, guided tours of the Paolo Desana DOC Documentation Center.
Monday, May 11
A working day reserved for professionals and journalists. Two masterclasses will be held, interspersed with brunch: in the morning, a blind tasting of twelve samples of Grignolino 2025; in the afternoon, a focus on the denominations protected by the Consortium.
